SRINAGAR : Keeping in view the Shivratri festival of the Hindu community Joint Resistance Leadership cancelled the Shutdown call which was scheduled on Friday, 24 February.
According to the Hurriyat handout, the decision was taken by Syed Ali Geelani along with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik. Joint Leadership said that Hindu’s should enjoy a hassle free Festival.
Pertinently the Hindu festival Shivratri falls on the same date, so the leadership has decided to cancel the shutdown call.
