Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSCC) on Thursday asked Governor Satya Pal Malik to make people aware about the preparations of his administration over protecting Article 35-A at the top court of India.
Addressing a news conference here at Kashmir Press Club, JKCSCC member, Muzaffar Shah who was accompanied by Advocate Javaid and Jagmohan Singh Raina said that the civil society has sought time from Governor Malik to discuss the preparations of state administration to protect Article 35-A.
He added that everything that has been done in Jammu and Kashmir so far was done through the local legislators here. “People should elect their representatives after a well-thought and proper research about the candidate, ” he added.
Reacting to statement made by Governor regarding operation-all-out and reach out Hurriyat, Shah said there is contradiction in his statements as everything that is happening is taking place on his directions. (KNS)
