Sameer, a local said, “We had provided our own land for the construction of health care centre without any compensation, but till date it is not functional, we made several representations to the senior health officials including DC Budgam but they ignored our pleas by saying that further construction will be started soon.”
When Kashmir News Bureau contacted Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Nazir Ahmad regarding this issue, he said, “construction of PHC at Puhru village was stopped due to lack of funds, but now the issue has been resolved and he assured that the further construction will be started in the month of February.”
