SRINAGAR : The Kanihama-Singpora Pattan road is in shambles as the authorities have ignored it, residents allege.
They said that the road is in dilapidated conditions which have rendered commuters to suffer. They said that despite they have protested the bad road conditions in past many times to grab the attention of the concern authorities; nothing has been done so far.
They alleged that the area is given step motherly treatment. They blame the local Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Imran Raza Ansari for failing to fulfill the public grievance of his constituency.
They said road is an alternative road to the Narbal-Baramulla adding that if there is blockade on national highway, the traffic is being diverted via this road. They said keeping in the view the importance of the road, the authorities must pay great attention to road.
They demand macadamisation of road to ease out suffering people.
