BARAMULLA: Managing Body of ATI Hanfi Model High School Delina held a felicitation ceremony today in which meritorious students and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff were rewarded and appreciated.
The ceremony was attended by a good number of parents, students, members of managing body and staff members of the institution. On the occasion students presented different topics including life sketches of Auliyaah e Kashmir.
Kindergarten kids presented beautiful Islamic rhymes. Teacher on staff Andleeb Zehra delivered a well crafted lecture on the history of Hanfia Model High school Delina. She highlighted the contributions of the founding members of the school including Abdul Khaliq Dar and Qazi Syed Rasool and prayed for their departed souls.
Chairman Ghulam Mohammad Chopan who could not attend the programme due to some unavoidable circumstances in his telephonic message congratulated the staff and meritorious students for bringing laurels to school. He assured staff and parents every possible help and directed teachers to be disciplined and duty-bound.
Vice Principal Firdousa in her presentation threw light on importance of education and responsibilities of students. Principal Irshad Ahmad Lone Sb in his address appreciated the meritorious students and praised the role of management for lifting the school to new heights. He said that if same efforts are put in place regularly the school will leave big schools behind.
Senior Member of Management Altaf Hussain Rather spoke at length about role of a teacher in transforming the society. He quoted couplets of Alama Iqbal RA to substantiate the point that with efforts anything is possible under the sky. Secretary Qazi Syed Sajad in his presidential address applauded the teachers for guiding little kids to perform so well on the stage. He underscored the importance of Reward System in modern education system. Reward, felicitation and appreciation is must to draw the best from students and teachers.
He also spell out a list of do’s and don’ts for staff and requested staff members to follow the guidelines of management in letter and spirit. Some parents also spoke on the occasion and gave their positive feedback. At the end a colourful Award Ceremony was held in which toppers of all classes were rewarded with gifts and certificates.
The awards to staff and students were given away by managing body members including vice chairman Ali Mohammed Lone , Niyaz Ahmad Rather and Altaf Hussain Rather . The toppers who were rewarded include Alka Majeed from Nursery , Hamad Bin Zahoor from LKG, Mohammad Uzair from UKG, Falak Reyaz from class 1st, Novreen Zubair from 2nd, Fazil Ashraf from 3rd, Nyreen Bashir from 4th, Umaika Ashraf from class 5th, Imbar Altaf from class 6th, Najum un Nisa from class 7th, Kounsar Fayaz from class 8th, Abiroo Ayub from class 8th, Mehrukh Mushtaq from class 8th, Fazeelat Mehak from class 8th and Mehroz Manzoor from class 9th.
