Police takes cognizance of fake tweet screenshot

SRINAGAR: Zonal Police Headquarters in a statement issued today said that a screenshot of Fake Twitter account misrepresented as an update of our official Twitter account J&K Police  is being shared across social media.

“We request general public not to share it.We have taken cognizance of this criminal activity and necessary legal action is being initiated. Our official Twitter account is J&K Police @JmuKmrpolice. We request the people on social media networks to follow our official account for  authentic updates regarding J&K Police:, a police statement issued reads.
