SRINAGAR: Expressing deep concern over the incident at Greater Noida where in Kashmiri students were brutally thrashed , Karwan-e-Islami patron Ghulam Rasool Hami termed the act as unfortunate and against all the basic principles of democracy stating that Kashmiri students studying in various parts of India.
Addressing Friday gathering at Narwora, Beerwah, Alama Hami said that since past many months, Kashmiri students, traders, and shawl sellers working in various parts of India are feeling threatened the same way, minorities of India are feeling as majority them are forced to migrate to safer places.
Hami said that this kind of situation has been created by the Hindu fanatic elements which enjoys full backing of RSS and that the routine life of minorities and the students belonging to Kashmir have become hell, as even intellectuals and writers speaking in favour of Kashmiri people are being harassed and subjected to worst form of atrocities which is highly deplorable.
He said its high time when right minded people who understand the pain of Kashmiris, living across India must unite and jointly fight against this assault so that Kashmiri people including students, businessman and shawl sellers feel safe.
Meanwhile, Hami paid rich tributes to Kashmir’s revered sufi saint Sheikh Noorudin Noorani (RA) on his 578th Urs (birth anniversary) stating that these saints put in their blood and sweat to provide Islam in its true and pristine form to the people of Kashmir and it’s the moral duty of people of Kashmir to follow the great sayings and teachings of these saints and there can be no other way purest than the one shown by them.
