Gunfight underway at south Kashmir village

Srinagar: A fierce gunfight is underway between militants and government forces at Chowgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

“Encounter going on at Chowgam Qazigund,” police said.

Sources said that gunfight started after forces cordoned the village for door to door searches.
