Jammu gunfight; Militant killed, Police officer, CRPF soldiers injured

Srinagar: One militant has been killed while as SDPO Nagrota and some CRPF soldiers were injured in an ongoing gun battle in Kakriyal area of Jammu on Thursday, police said.“One terrorist killed, SDPO Nagrota and some jawans of CRPF injured in Kakriyal encounter which is going on,” police said.Earlier during a cordon and search operation, personnel from the CRPF, police and the Army cornered a house in the Kakriyal belt of Jammu.As the forces personnel narrowed down on the exact location of the militants, the encounter broke out, the officials said, adding that the gun battle was still going on.
