Militants lob grenade at SSB bunker in Kashmir’s capital city

Srinagar: Militants on Friday attacked paramilitary SSB with a grenade in Mehjoor Nagar area of this capital city.

Unknown militants tossed a grenade at the bunker of paramilitary SSB near Mehjoor Nagar bund around 3:00 pm Friday, witnesses told Kashmir Reader.

The grenade exploded with a bang causing panic among the passerby. However, no one was injured in the explosion.

Meanwhile, a police official told Kashmir Reader that the nature of explosion is being ascertained.

“It was a low intensity blast. We are trying to ascertain whether it was a grenade,” he said.
