11th class Student dies in Soura School during morning assembly

Srinagar: An 11^th class student passed away suddenly in GHSS Soura, Srinagar on Monday soon after she fainted in the ground of the School during morning assembly, official sources said.

The deceased was identified as Sehar Saleem Sofi, they added.

Sources said that Sehar was taken to the SKIMS Soura where after the strenuous efforts of doctors she could not recover and doctors declared her dead.

Meanwhile, Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo has expressed shock over the sudden death of Sehar and said said that the whole Department stands with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
