Three more youth joins militancy in Anantnag, pictures goes viral

SRINAGAR: Three more Educated Youth hailing from South Kashmir’s Anantnag District reportedly joined militant ranks as their photos go viral on social media.

Reports Basit Ahmad Mir son of Ishtaiq Ahmad Mir hailing from Khanabal area of the district Anantnag is see holding Ak-47 Rifle has joined Laksher-E-Toiba Militant out-fit on 01 August 2018 and his Code name is (Abu Aayan).

Local sources said that he was Student of B.sc 1st year at Government Degree Collage Khanabal Anantnag and was Missing from Last Week.

Another youth, Tariq Ahmad Khan son of Nazir Ahmad Khan hailing from Lal chowk area of the district Anantnag has joined Laksher-E-Toiba Militant out-fit. In the photograph viral on Social Media, he is holding Ak-47 Rifle and has joined Militant outfit on 05 August 2018 and his Code name is Abu Saad.

Reportedly he was missing since encounter took place in main Anantnag town on 25 July 2018 in which 2 militants were killed in this Encounter.  He had passed 12th Class.

Third youth identified as Waris Ahmad Malik, Son of Bashir Ahand Malik of Arwani area of District Anantnag has joined Lashker-e-Toiba Militant outfit on 04 August 2018.

He is seen holding Ak-47 Rifle in viral photograph and his code name is Jibraan Bhai. He was doing job in Sudai Arabia and has arrived home eight months back. He had passed 2nd year and missing from 04 August 2018.

Police sources said, “That they are verifying the authenticity of the pictures of youth which have gone viral on Social Media. Reports said that till date more than 115 youths have joined Militant ranks this year, which is highest number of joining any year. (PTK)
