Search operation launched in Srinagar locality

SRINAGAR: Government Forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation at Chhatabla area of Srinagar city on Thursday.

The operation according to a police official was launched after the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

“The operation was launched by Quick Reaction Team assisted by SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police.”

During search operation no contact with militants was established. The operation was called off after two hours of door-to-door search operation. (CNS)
