A nephew of Bhat told PTK that amid shutdown in the area due to prevailing situation, CRPF personnel were deployed in the area who attacked their house, damages the window panes and harassed the family members of Bhat.
He said that there was no stone pelting or disturbance in the area adding that the forces without any provocation entered in the lawn of the house and started damaging windows and smashing whatever they found.
“Our family members who were inside the house were terrorized by the uncalled action of the forces. It seems they were planned to harass Maqbool Bhat Sahabs family members. Forces have damaged all the widows of the house”, he said.
