Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh a total of 91 persons tested positive for COVID-19 and all the positive reports were received by CMO Leh. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 14 patients yesterday and all were discharged by CMO Leh. With the report of death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Leh district today, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 95 with 55 in Leh and 40 in Kargil district.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1000; 887 in Leh district and 113 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 292 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today. While 99 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 31 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post yesterday. And 15 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 07 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post yesterday.
