Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 83 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 82 positive reports were received by CMO Leh and one positive report was received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 84 patients today. Out of which 74 were discharged by CMO Leh and 10 by CMO Kargil.
With the report of the death of four more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district today, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 105 with 64 in Leh and 41 in Kargil district.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone down to 854; 758 in Leh district and 96 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 365 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today. While 20 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post yesterday.
