Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 79 persons tested positive for COVID-19 and all the positive reports were received by CMO Leh. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 113 patients today and all were discharged by CMO Leh.
With the report of death of two more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district today, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 98 with 57 in Leh and 41 in Kargil district.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone down to 912; 805 in Leh district and 107 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 603 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today. While 54 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 31 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post yesterday.
