SRINAGAR: A minor drowned to death in river Jhelum at Sultanpora Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday afternoon.
An eye witness said that they were gone for taking bath and faizan drowned in river at Sultanpora bund.
After the incident locals rushed towards the spot and retrieved the body from river and rushed him to nearby SDH Sumbal for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
The youth was identified as Faizan Ahmad Marazi S/o Mohammad Yousuf Marazi of Sultanpora Pattan.
A doctor at SDH Sumbal also confirmed the death of Faizan Yousuf. (PTK)
