Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 43 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 39 positive reports while CMO Kargil received four positive reports.
The bulletin further details that 23 patients in Leh and 20 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 1030; 637 in Leh district and 393 in Kargil district.
It also reports that 192 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today. While 181 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 82 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post yesterday. Similarly, 138 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 156 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at the Khaltsi Check Post yesterday.
The bulletin further details that in Leh district total positive cases admitted in COVID Hospital are 54, total positive cases in home isolation are 343, 66 in COVID Care Centre, and 158 in the facility Isolation. Similarly, in Kargil district total positive cases admitted in COVID Hospital are 11, total positive cases in home isolation are 302, and 80 in COVID Care Centre.
