RAMABN: Four persons were killed; five were injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Ramban district on Tuesday.
According to reports, a vehicle on way to Jammu plunged into a deep gorge of about 500ft near Ramban, resulting into on spot death of three passengers, one among 6 critically injured.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Randeep Kumar told PTK that four were killed besides six people, including two children and a woman, were injured. They were rushed to District Hospital Ramban where one of the injured succumbed, taking the death toll to four.
“Woman’s condition remains critical while two minors are responding to the treatment”, he adds.
