151 patients cured and discharged
Leh, May 05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 245 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 199 reports were received by CMO Leh and 46 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With the death of three patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 151; 107 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 151 patients yesterday. Out of which 137 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 14 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1374; 1197 in Leh district and 177 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 489 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 33 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Monday.
