India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

SRINAGAR : The armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday afternoon exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of control (LoC) in Machhil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Official sources said that the Pakistani troopers targeted the Indian Army posts along the LoC in Machhil which was retaliated by Indian Army.

Local sources said that the two armies exchanged gunfire along Line of control in Ringpayeen, Tantray and Khan Basti areas of Machhil.

The exchange of fire was going on when this report was being filed.

However, there was no report of any loss of life on either side so far.
