Poonch: Authorities on Thursday sealed four private dental clinics and three private laboratories in Mendhar that were found running without registration.
Block Medical Officer Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan along with Naib Tehsildar Mendhar Taraf Hussain Shah sealed the clinics. The clinics were also not registered with the State Pollution Control Board and were not adopting the biomedical wastage norms, official sources told GNS.
These clinics were not displaying any rate list of various procedures and tests, they said.
The dental clinics sealed include Star Dental clinic Mendhar, Advance Dental Health Care, Alshifa Dental Clinic Mendhar and Star One Dental Clinic; while as the private laboratories sealed are V Care Diagnostic Laboratory, Micron Clinical Laboratory and Public Diagnostic Laboratory.
BMO Mendhar told GNS that the drive against illegal clinics will continue and no private diagnostic laboratory will be allowed to function till it fulfills all the required norms. (GNS)
