SRINAGAR: Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi on Tuesday strongly condemned the Shopian killings and expressed concern over the situation in Kashmir.
In a tweet, Afridi, who has a huge fan following in Kashmir as well questioned the United Nations and other international bodies for their ‘silence’ over the bloodshed in Kashmir.
“Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self-determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?” Afridi tweeted. (PTK)
