SRINAGAR: Government on Thursday issued new timings for schools in the Kashmir valley with effect from Oct 3.

Director School Education Kashmir ordered that new school timings both in respect of government as well as recognized Private schools within in the Municipal limits of Srinagar City; shall be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and in the areas falling outside Srinagar Municipal limits from 10:00 to 4:00 pm w.e.f 03-10-2017.
The order further reads that the instructions shall be ordered to strictly by all the concerned institutions.
