PDP-BJP alliance only there to stay in power: Farooq Abdullah

SRINAGAR :  National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah  today on eve of martyrs day said that the BJP-People’s Democratic Party (PDP) alliance is only there to stay in power .

He said that they loot the state and have got nothing to do with the people of the Valley. Farooq Abdullah told reporters, “They have nothing to do with this. They are only here to stay in power and loot the public of Jammu and Kashmir”.

Abdullah paid tributes and observed the Kashmir Martyrs Day or the 86th Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir, which celebrates the sacrifice of 22 valiant people on July 13, 1931.

Abdullah said that the July 13, 1931 was a watershed moment in the history of Kashmir and marked the beginning of a struggle against tyranny, oppression and despotism.

Meanwhile government put strict restrictions across Srinagar to avoid any possible clash on this day. Mobile and internet services were also been blocked across the Valley.
