Caught in crossfire

With the rise of insurgency in Kashmir, the gun battle has become an order of the day.  The hide and seek of militants is giving tough time to the security forces.

The militant some time take shelter in the forests while most often trapped in residential houses.

The game of battle between the militants and security forces most often fell on the civilians. The hiding militants in residential houses, refusing to surrender made security forces to raze the property to ground.

Since the militancy has started in Kashmir, hundreds of houses and other properties have vanished, leaving the owners to lament the brunt.  These wailing property owners always remain unheard for no fault of theirs.

The shelterless families are never supported or compensated is the million dollar question. The moral is that the militants and security forces both must save them.
