Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, 13 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of which 12 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and one positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil. With the report of the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 128; 84 in Leh and 44 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 15 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 180; 175 in Leh district and five in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 394 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 67 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Monday.
