SRINAGAR : Several people suffered pellet injuries while as forces allegedly damaged three vehicles in clashes in southern Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, when polling was underway for Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency.
Reports reaching to PTK said that at least 10 youth were injured in clashes at many villages of Kulgam which includes Kujar, Ghat, Khudwani, Qaimoh, Tarigam and Shamsipora. Three vehicles were damaged during the clashes.
Locals told PTK that Government forces went berserk at Qaimoh village of Kulgam and break the Window panes of many residental houses after some youth pelted stones on them.
The injured youth were identified as Khalid Son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Rooh, Monghal, Anantnag, Shakir Farooq resident of Kujjar, Zahid Shafi resident of Kujjar and Waseem Ahmad resident of Kujjar.
Waseem and Zahid have been shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar and Khalid and Shakir have been shifted to district hospital, Anantnag for treatment. (PTK)
