Govt fails to protect lives of people, want peace on LoC: Sagar


SRINAGAR: Senior National Conference leader Ali Mohammad Sagar today said that government failed to maintain peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

While talking to Press trust of Kashmir Ali Mohammad Sagar asks India and Pakistan to uphold the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) as innocent lives were being lost to border skirmishes, he said.

He said that this is too much. “We want there should be peace on the border and the LoC”, he added. He said that army is doing something else and government is doing something else.  He said that Mehbooba Mufti should now accept that she failed to protect people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He further added that the PDP-BJP government has failed to protect the lives and properties of those living along the international border (IB) and the Line of Control (LoC). (PTK)
