Suspicion ‘braid choppers’ Six youth handed to police in Central Ganderbal

Ganderbal: Police on Saturday said that six suspected braid-choppers who were roaming in Repora area of Lar caught and handed to police by locals in this Central Kashmir on Friday.
In a statement police said, added that during preliminary investigation the detained six persons were identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Pahloo son of Bashir Ahmad, Sameer Ahmad Khan son of Shabir Ahmad, Adil Khursheed son of Khursheed Ahmad, Ubaid Ahmad son of Mohd Ayoob, Zubair Ahmad son of Mohd Qador, and Waseem Ahnad Son of Saif-ud-din both were residents of Sadrekoot Bala in Badnipora district.
“Investigation into the matter also revealed that one among them namely Muzaffar Ahmad was in a telephonic-relations with a local girl from Repora village and had gone to meet her along their other friends roaming suspiciously in an Alto car bearing number JK09A-4510 in Repora area, when spotted by locals suspected as braid choppers were caught and without taking law and order into their hands called the police and handed them over.” they said.
The statement further added that after proper verification, both were residence of Bandipora district and were not braid choppers, they said.
In his statement SHO Lar Shri Altaf Hurra appreciated the good move of Lar residents and advised that people should learn a lesson and inform us in case they found any suspicious movement of any person and should refrain from taking law and order in their hands.
