Water level in Sangam reaches 21.95 feet  at 12AM

SRINAGAR: According to the department of Irrigation and Flood Control, the water level in Srinagar’s Ram Munshi Bagh is recorded at 19.30 feet at 12 AM.

The water levels across Jehlum is flowing above alarm levels. It has reached ‘flood declaration level’ at Sangam as gauge shows 21.95 ft at 12am, while at Asham, it is 11.08 ft.

The department has advised the people living along the embankments of river Jehlum/Nallahs and in low lying areas of South Kashmir to remain vigilant.
